After a bunch of rain last week, this week promises to be pretty darn good.

The wildflowers we planted a couple weeks ago have sprouted and are growing quite well.  We're waiting to weed until we know which ones are flowers and which ones are actually weeds. 

The City Wide Garage Sale was last weekend, which caught us completely unaware.  K had been gone for a few days, family stuff, and we just didn't have time to get it going.  Pffft.  We'll have one in a couple weeks, our neighbor across the street, Sue, wants to do one with us.  She's a sweet, older girl, Southern Girl, we love her. 

Kandi's going to Michigan tomorrow, her mom's having surgery on Wednesday.  She'll be home next week sometime. 

Something is wonky at Gator's school, Mama Bear is going to have a meeting of the minds there tomorrow.  Y'all, send me some strength, 'cos confrontations are not my thing, but neither is putting up with someone messing with my cub. 

Jack is now the unofficial Hero of the Golf Course.  Can't go into details, because you never know who is reading this, but suffice it to say that he stood up to the self proclaimed Giant, and sent him running to his mommy, crying like a school girl.  (Not literally, but you get the point, right?)

DoubleD is livin' large and loving her life in New Mexico.  She's coming home June 13 - 28th.  Won't be long now.  I sure miss her.  Tomorrow is my Son-In-Law's birthday.  Those of you with Facebook, look up Benjamin Ward, it's probably protected, but you can send him a message.

Ha, that reminds me...back in the day, when it was my mom's birthday, I would send a memo to everyone where I worked, with her phone number on it, to call and wish her a happy birthday.  She really got a kick out of that. 

Ok, gotta go.  Remember Moe Howard?  He passed on this day in 1975, he was 77. 

It is also the National Day of Prayer.  Let's all say one for each other, yeah?

Edit:  After with my son a second time about this, "we've" decided that I was making too big of a deal about it. He's a big boy, he can handle it.  Well, he is a big boy alright.  Let me know when you need me. 

Instead of looking at it as being "rock bottom," as I was, instead I am looking at it as a way to learn and grow.  I've put too much stock in stuff instead of putting stock in my time and how I spend it. 

This is a new beginning. 

Anyone out there have good luck with container gardening?  I would like to try it again, and if you have any tricks, please feel free to share.
